A song about sugar addiction.
Enduring Generations.
It’s been a privilege and honor to record with great musicians in illustrious studios throughout my career. But most exciting has been making music with my daughter Thérèse, her daughter Sarah, and the latest—grandson Michael Barbaro and granddaughter Cecilia Barbaro.
One of my early songs was a recording of Generations in Los Angeles, which also became a music video. It was a song for all future generations. Thérèse had sung during my first studio sessions in Nashville wowing everyone there, while much later in New York City Sarah and I recorded My Place with her unique vocals and breathtaking grand piano. The latest family release is the single 'If Tomorrow Never Comes' with Michael weaving his velvety electric guitar throughout the song and Cecilia’s soaring vocal harmonies, even at age 14, reaching the sky. Just thinking about the session brings chills. With plenty more young talent, I’m looking forward to the next family affair.
